In recent years, the county-level city of Gaomi in Weifang, East China Shandong province, has been putting much emphasis on the green transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry. The city is now home to four national green factories and one at the provincial level.
Gaomi has been working to save energy and reduce carbon emissions to realize green development. The local government is arranging for corporations to implement a new management system to save energy and reduce emissions, ensuring the efficient management of energy through all parts of production, which serves as a green engine for industrial development.
Sunvim Group, a Shandong province-based textile product manufacturer, has made strong efforts to conserve energy and reduce carbon emissions, which has reduced costs, increased profits, and provided new momentum for the group's high-quality development.
"In order to further conserve energy and reduce emissions, our company has independently developed the CV plus soft machine hot water reuse project, which can save 260,000 yuan ($35,782.5) in production costs annually. Following this project, we have also implemented water recycling for the washing water of four overflow dyeing machines. Next, we will continue to promote the implementation of green energy-saving and emissions reduction projects to further reduce production costs and enhance the competitiveness of the enterprise," said Zhang Hongmao, director of the dyeing and finishing workshop of Sunvim Group.
